Let the adventure begin! Welcome to tropical paradise; Costa Rica. You will land at the Alajuela airport (SJO), our meeting point with the entire group will be at the hostel. We will settle into our rooms and go out to dinner to meet the whole group. We will sleep early and the next day we will move to the community where we will volunteer.

We will take advantage of this day to travel from Alajuela to Drake Bay, a few hours by bus and a boat await us to the starting point of our volunteering.

Days of volunteering, you will explore the paradisiacal Costa Rica while generating positive social impact in a turtle camp. You will participate in activities that promote sea turtle conservation and you will be able to learn more about this wonderful species. Key Activities when it is not turtle season: Beach cleaning and garbage collection in the community, cultural immersion activity with people from the community and children such as sports activities, repair and cleaning of facilities, both the turtle incubators and the from the same project site, Environmental awareness and sea turtle conservation workshops with the community. Turtle season activities: (August to December) Take care of the nurseries, collect nests, relocate nests to a hatchery, release hatchlings into the ocean and exhume nests.

After a few days of volunteering and social activities, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the country's beautiful beaches. You will have the freedom to tour the entire Drake Bay with your group. You will have the option to decide what to do this day. We recommend visiting Caño Island, the Corcovado National Park or taking an incredible walk along the bay to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, flora and fauna of this place. Take advantage of the last day in Drake to begin your adventure the next day.

The time has come to move to the paradisiacal Manuel Antonio. After breakfast we will take the road towards this area of the country. Upon arrival we will settle into the hostel and go out to see the beautiful beaches of the destination. At night we can go out to dinner and enjoy the nightlife.

Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most important in the entire country, it has an incredible combination of tropical jungle, beaches and coral reefs. These beaches are beautiful and are surrounded by jungle where sloths, toucans, iguanas, squirrel monkeys, millions of colorful crabs and much more live. We will take a 2km walk inside the park making several important stops until we reach Playa Escondida and enjoy the sea.

Get ready to discover the real jungle of Costa Rica! We will pick you and the entire group up to travel to La Fortuna, the place with the most extreme and outdoor activities in the entire Central American jungle. After settling in at the hostel we will have time to go explore the center of La Fortuna, have a nice view of the Arenal Volcano and go out to dinner with the group.

After having our breakfast in the morning, we will go to a resort near La Fortuna, here there will be a preparation talk where the guide will demonstrate the movement and safety techniques for the zip lines. You will climb the platforms located in the trees with a total of 12 zip line cables, we will travel almost 3 kilometers into the jungle with impressive views. At the end of the canopy tour, you will be able to enjoy the Hotel facilities, which have 5 thermal water pools, 2 large regular water pools, 3 slides and much more.

Ready for the adrenaline? You will enjoy an ATV adventure (single or double) where you will take a ride along the slopes of the Arenal Volcano and walk to a volcanic stone viewpoint to enjoy the view. You will visit an indigenous community in the area and they will explain to you about their customs and traditions. At the end, we will move to the famous La Fortuna Waterfall where you can swim in the waters of the Waterfall and relax in the river.

After breakfast, we will have the day free to continue exploring La Fortuna. This is a destination with many options for activities and we recommend some of the following: Hike through the Arenal Volcano, Kayak on Lake Arena, or the Chocolate Tour through the jungle. At the end of the day we will have dinner together and enjoy our last night in this beautiful town.

You will have the morning available to go cool off in the sea, visit the souvenir shops or walk around Manuel Antonio. Starting at 4:00 pm we will pick you up to take you to the hostel in Alajuela. After settling in at the hostel we will go to dinner to enjoy our last night of the trip.
